Chili with Ground Beef

Portion -  3 oz of lean ground beef
Serves two

Ingredients

6 oz lean (90% plus) ground beef

1 tbl McCormick Chili Seasoning (mild or hot)

¼ cup of onions, diced

1 ½ cup of Goya Dark Red Kidney Beans

½ of 15.5 can of petite diced tomatoes

1 tsp of garlic powder

½ tsp of parseley flakes

Salt to taste

Ground black pepper to taste

Directions

Preheat medium size skilled over medium heat. Add meat and onions. Season with salt, ground, black, pepper, and garlic powder.

Once meat is browned, add in chili seasoning. Mix with meat. Add tomatoes and beans. Simmer on low for 15 minutes. Remove from heat.

Serving Suggestions

Serve with ½ cup of white rice. Add in extra calories.
